Who Are We?

​

Broadening Horizons is a not-for-profit organization that believes in the power of education, art and critical self-empowerment to create change in the world.

​

We educate  youth to become peer leaders in their communities by harnessing their creative talents towards a social purpose. Our innovative programs educate youth on a wide variety of social issues, ranging from discrimination, poverty and hunger, to homelessness and youth substance use.

Broadening Horizons aims to provide services that focus on micro, macro, and mezzo issues impacting youth to help them influence change within themselves, their local community and on a global scale. We believe that these three levels are interconnected and work needs to happen in all areas in order to truly create social change.

We provide both an online and physical learning environment that will provide invaluable resources to social artists, young people, aspiring mentors and the community at large. Through our online hub, ThaOutlet, youth can connect, learn and share with others their passion for change.
